HERO3+ Black Edition Shuts Down with no Temperature Icon when Hot

In some cases you may experience the HERO3+ Black Edition shut down without seeing the temperature icon when the camera is hot. It will show the temperature icon the first time the camera shuts down due to heat, but if you try to power on the camera while it is still too hot it may shut down without any temperature warning. If you run into this, let the camera cool down completely before using it again.

Yes, HERO3+ cameras are compatible with all existing HERO3 accessories, mounts, and harnesses.

What are the Advantages of Using Wi-Fi Over Bluetooth?

The HERO4 uses both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for wireless control of the camera. Bluetooth is used to quickly recognize the camera upon launching the GoPro App. Once successfully paired to the camera, the HERO4 will result to a Wi-Fi connection as it has several advantages over Bluetooth and Bluetooth LE* including higher bandwidth, better range, lower latency, higher bit-rate, and better security.

What is SuperView?

SuperView allows you to capture an immersive wide angle perspective. What this mode does is it takes a 4:3 aspect ratio and dynamically stretches it to a 16:9 aspect ratio. How to Delete Files from microSD Cards
